FAQs

  • In Aesthetic use it depends on the strength of your muscles and the size of the muscle treated. The stronger and larger the muscle is, the more quickly it will overcome the effect of the Botox. The maximum effect of muscle relaxion is about 2 months but effects will continue to be apparent for a period of 3 to 5 months before muscle strength returns

  • It was first discovered when it was produced by bacteria that grew in food that was not well preserved. Since then it has been purified and has a wide range of use in the medical field. The dose used in cosmetic procedures is minute and has no effect on the rest of the body

  • The procedure is quick and simple and from your pre treatment consulation until the end of your appointment is no longer than 25-30 mins. The full results of botox injections can take up to two weeks.

  • Your expression lines will return gradually. If you choose to maintain the effect with muscle relaxants you will require repeat injections 2 to 3 times per year.

  • It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • The skin texture can be affected by various factors such as sun damage, smoking, lifestyle or simple ageing. It is important to maintain a good, healthy lifestyle and peels and mesotherapy can help to improve the condition of the skin and reduce signs of ageing.

  • There has been increased concern regarding the safety of aesthetic procedures.Dermal fillers are safe in safe hands. It is important to consider a well trained practitioner, clean environment, use of quality fillers and use of advanced techniques to reduce any risk of injection into blood vessels.

  • Some people can have a reaction to fillers but this is extremely rare. Common minor side effects include bruising , redness and swelling which settle within a few days.

  • The procedure takes a short time but if you are having several areas treated, you will require a longer consultation. This is assessed on an individual basis and results are dependent on the area treated. Fillers generally last from 6 to 9 months. A thicker form of filler can last up to 18 months.

FAQ Polynucleotides

  • Polynucleotides are an injectable bio-stimulator that are crafted from purified DNA fragments and encourage collagen and elastin production, two essential proteins within the skin that decrease with age, by boosting fibroblast cells, promoting tissue regeneration and restoring skin tone and elasticity. They offer antioxidant and hydrating benefits, alongside bio-remodeling effects, resulting in healthier and more youthful-looking skin

  • Unlike dermal fillers, which are designed to temporarily plump the skin, Polynucleotides have been scientifically proven to regenerate the skin from inside, at a cellular level, increasing your skin’s hydration levels, collagen production, skin elasticity and more. Some Polynucleotide products are combined with hyaluronic acid (such as Pluryal Densify), for added volume

  • Unlike other anti-ageing treatments such as skin boosters that typically take around 3 months to see improvements, improvements in skin quality from polynucleotide treatments can be seen in just a few weeks (or when combined with hyaluronic acid, results can be seen instantly).

They go deeper than other treatments

By far, the most popular solution for the signs of ageing has been anti-wrinkle injections, (commonly known as ‘botox’). Whilst this still maintains status as an effective anti-ageing solution, the average treatment lasts around an average of 3-4 months. Most polynucleotide treatments are designed to last 6-12 months, with the effects also continuing to improve the underlying skin quality long after that.

  • Previously, the most effective injectable for skin rejuvenation we had was known as a “skin booster”. This is a type of dermal filler used to improve the skin’s quality by boosting hydration levels deep within the skin. Our new biostimulators (polynucleotide treatments) go even further, not just increasing hydration levels deep within, but also acting as a skin healer. Polynucleotides compliment the skin’s natural ability to self-repair by interacting directly with the fibroblasts and cells.
